français For practice semesters / Projects for different types of studies ADEID is a Cameroonian developmental and environmental organization. Since 1990 about 20 associates have been working in the sectors of ecological agriculture, livestock farming and sustainable forestry, rural development, renewable energy, gender, human rights, decentralization and protection of nature. ADEID aims at a strongly participative way of acting. ADEIDs headquarter is located in Bafoussam in the mountainous West of Cameroon with a second office in Yaoundé the capital of Cameroon. Our working programs: • Program Water and Renewable Energy Eaux et Énergies Renouvelables (PEER)Technical development , mainly in rural areas by introducing forms of renewable energy like biogas, biomass, solar and wind power presently with a big effort on the design, manufacture and installation of micro-hydro pelton turbines, also training and advising local technicians. In the water sector actions like the fabrication of ceramic filters and the use of rainwater are included. Development of an exchange and the cooperation on the one hand with national and international NGOs on the other hand between supporters like UN and EU. Internships supporting us with self-responsible work, study projects, servicing in giving advise and trainings are always welcome for every sector of our widespread program. Language knowledge of French is necessary, although English is very helpful. We regret the fact that we aren't able to pay honoraries because of the strategic reasons using the donated money as much efficient as possible, but free accommodation can be provided.
